The Wicko Lake [1] Barrier is the very little known place because of military area which is localised there. It starts in the West from end of the morenic cliffs in Jarosławiec village [2]; where cliff is protected by very big and heavy concrete band with tetrapods. The barrier is the widest on wieth very big-forested dunes (even up to 35-40m high). In the forest are localised a lot of buildings and other military infrastructure. Whole coast between Jarosławiec and outlet from small Lake Modła near Ustka town in the East is closed for tourism and common people. Thats why foredune and upper beach in not under human impact. Only during manoeuvre dunes suffer from tanks, artillery and soldiers.
